Our STEM program immerses students in hands-on, interdisciplinary learning experiences. Students can experience tools like Lego for engineering, Makedo for sustainable cardboard construction, and Minecraft Education for digital literacy. Coding skills are developed through interactive activities with Kubo and Dash robots, while our garden-based projects teach students about pollinators, pests, and indigenous plants, fostering a connection to nature. We incorporate design thinking to solve real-world problems, balancing explicit instruction of scientific knowledge, tools, and skills. Through these activities, students enhance their critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, empowering them to solve problems and make a positive impact on the world. We are proud of the local partnerships we have created with Zoos Victoria and the Cranbourne Botanical Gardens as we work together on projects relating to animal conservation.
