On Monday 7th October 2024, the Year 6 students of Casey Fields Primary School will be heading off to Camp Manyung in Mount Eliza. The students will be at camp for 3 days and 2 nights, returning on Wednesday 9th October 2024 at approximately 3.00pm.

The students will be sleeping in separate blocks for boys and girls. Each cabin will include approximately 7 students.

Whilst on camp the students will participate in adventure activities that include a giant swing, flying fox, amazing race, bike skills and a coastal hike. All the activities at camp will be ‘challenge by choice’ and run by experts from the camp to guarantee that all students have a great time.

School camps also provide an opportunity for students to develop new skills that they wouldn’t be able to in a school environment. They will be encouraged to develop independence and new social skills, as well as creating lifelong memories.

Students are required to arrive at school by 8:00am with a backpack, packed lunch, drink bottle, hat, and coat. Attendance will be marked, and any medications must be handed to the teacher in charge of First Aid with a completed Medication Authority Form. We will be departing for Camp Manyung at approximately 9.00am.
