On Wednesday 28th August 2024 we will be heading off to our Year 4 Camp to Phillip Island Adventure Resort. The camp will be for 3 days and 2 nights. We will be returning on Friday 30th August 2024 at approximately 2.30pm.

The students will be sleeping in separate blocks for boys and girls. Each cabin varies in bed numbers, ranging between 4 and 6, reverse cycle heating and cooling and an ensuite bathroom.

Whilst on camp the students will participate in such activities as camp cooking, initiatives courses, giant swing, flying fox and scavenger hunts. All the activities at camp will be ‘challenge by choice’ to guarantee that all students have a great time. The students will also be visiting Smiths Beach, Nobbies Boardwalk and the Penguin Parade at night time. School camps also provide an opportunity for students to develop new skills that they wouldn’t be able to in a school environment. They will be encouraged to develop independence and new social skills, as well as creating lifelong memories.

Students are required to arrive at school by 8:45am with a backpack, packed lunch, drink bottle, hat, and coat. Attendance will be marked, and any medications must be handed to the teacher in charge of First Aid with a completed Medication Authority Form. We will be departing for Phillip Island Camp at approximately 9.30am.
