This reptile incursions offer a variety of native Australian reptiles for the students to learn about and interact with. There will be a great variety of snakes, turtles, a baby crocodile and varying lizards, such as skinks, dragons, geckos and even legless lizards.
The incursion will cover many different reptile groups looking at how they differ and how ectotherms differ from endotherms. It also cover topics such as diets, range, adaptations, different habitat types and threats to different species and their environments.
As well as this, the incursion is highly interactive and will keep the students captivated as they are given the opportunity to touch and hold the animals.
